Since 1983 we have been the Southern Illinois area’s local comic shop. Formerly known as Campus Comics, we are a comic and collectible store with a new location and a selection of over 50,000 comics in stock. We buy comics and offer special orders. Also, we are an Authorized CGC Dealer.
At Muddy Monster we understand how important our community is which is why we sponsor local events and help support our local community. Fun fact, we are named Muddy Monster Comics after the Big Muddy Monster which is a bigfoot type creature often sighted along the banks of the Big Muddy River outside right here in Murphysboro, IL. The most famous sightings happened in 1973 in our area, and there are still sightings to this day.
